Gyesterday in Hoek van Holland between 20:00 and 21:00 an average wind speed of wind force 9 measured. So there was officially talk of the first autumn storm in 2020: autumn storm Odette. Temporary wind force 10 was even measured. This means severe storm. The strongest gust was 114 km / h.

Our eye fell on a number of photos by Patrick van der Ven. Patrick is the in-house photographer of the kite spot Zandmotor. Under all circumstances. So also yesterday just before the official measurement of autumn storm Odette. Windfinder wrote a clearance between 15:00 pm and 17:00 pm for… Practice turned out otherwise. Rain, rain and more rain ... Yet he squeezed out some kitesurfing photos before his photo camera had to be dried.

More beautiful kitesurf photos around autumn storm Odette made by Roald Arts on his facebook page. Roald was at both kite spot Zandmotor and kite sport Maasvlakte Slufter.
