We already knew that Beau van Erven Dorens kitesurfing. Last year he was even present during the Angle to Clear. He kitesurfed Hoek to Helder together with Mark Tuitert, Rintje Ritsma and Lilian de Geus for the Heart Foundation. Beau wanted to be there again in 2020.
Kitesurfing for the heart foundation: Hoek tot Helder
Just refresh the memory because unfortunately Hoek tot Helder could not continue in 2020. Hoek tot Helder is a 130 kilometer long monster downwinder from Hoek van Holland to Den Helder. With Hoek tot Helder money is collected for the Heart Foundation. If we talked to Beau about kite surfing with Beau van Erven Dorens, he will soon start talking about his passion for downwinders.

If you like kite surfing it's a great movie. The combination of beautiful nature, camaraderie, sports, surfing, kiting appeals. Even Beau's palpable emotion, probably due to the experience, fatigue and enjoyment, appeals to us in any case.

It is also clear that kite surfers must be trained for a downwinder like Hoek tot Helder. You do not do this untrained for a while.
