We are happy to give you a brief explanation of a way to attach your safety leash to your harness.
Supplies
- A piece of strong rope that is durable and a safety leash.
Explanation
Start by looking at the harness and find 2 strong attachment points.
Make a loop in the rope with a knot. It must be long enough to be accessible during an emergency. You can tie this knot in the middle of the trapeze.
Secure this length of rope to the trapeze attachment points. (By means of a bowline, for example. See the photo below for the bowline.)
Check the strength of the line and knots. Then it's time to bang.
Of course there are several ways and everyone has his / her preference. This is one way out of many. Pay attention! Make yourself never inseparably attached to a kite and care always for good working safety. Good winds!
ah
If you attach your leash to the barrel of your kite in the future. (Many pros do this to eg Easter) Then he does not pull on one side of the harness but centrally from your back. 2 points are also stronger than 1.
Because many trapezes do not have a good attachment point on the trapeze. On a number of modern trapezes it does!
Why not just attach the leash directly to your harness? Without an intermediate string?
