It is a fact that it is getting colder. You will notice it well if you go kitesurfing on a rainy day in October. You don't even have to be at sea for that. It is therefore time for a 4/3 mm or 5/3 mm wetsuit. Neoprene surf shoes are not yet necessary for extra insulation. The water is still too warm for that.

Our experience is that when the weather changes, some kite surfers give up. There is also a group of kite surfers who are becoming more selective. So they only catch the really nice days. In October it is often still pleasant. Especially during the fall break. The autumn break in the north and center is from October 22 to October 30, 2021. In the north, this is from October 15 to October 23, 2021.
