Hhe Koninklijke Nederlandse Watersport Verbond (KNWV) strives for safe enjoyment on the water in the Netherlands. By motor boaters, surfers and sailors, among others. The Watersportverbond consists of about 400 affiliated water sports clubs. These associations now have more than 80.000 members. Member groups are recreationists, athletes, competitive athletes and top athletes. It runs on a number of professionals, but otherwise mainly on volunteers.

Deployment Watersportverbond

The Watersportverbond supports the associations in many areas. For example, she brings association directors together several times a year to exchange knowledge and experiences and help them solve difficult association issues. She makes children enthusiastic about water sports, trains trainers and instructors and together they are committed to ensuring that competitive athletes can participate in contemporary and well-organized competitions.
