The days on which you can kiteboard in your shorts in the Netherlands can be counted on one hand per summer. This does not mean that we are cold here! The North Sea for the Netherlands remains just a bit too cold to ride without a wetsuit. On locally taken action photos, we often see kiteboarders in full regalia, including with wetsuit on. This is different around Cumbuco (North-East Brazil). Below a nice impression of a kite trip.

The season has now started again in the North East of Brazil. The wind is perfect every day in and around Cumbuco. (June to January)
Here a small impression of a kite trip in October 2008 to Paracuru together with the Windtown team. Of course we took a professional photographer with us to capture this spectacle.
Paracuru is a kite spot about 45 minutes drive from Cumbuco, and therefore good to travel as a day trip from Cumbuco. Especially if you do this trip on the beach it is really an experience.
