Today the magazine De Reddingsboot of the Royal Dutch Rescue Company fell on the mat again. This is the magazine that donors receive. It is always packed with facts, news, tips, interviews and rescue reports. In addition, I always look forward to the beautiful photos of the equipment in action. By analogy with the title of this blog 'KNRM helps 219 surfers in 2021', as a kite surfer and wings surfer, I am very fond of the KNRM, Rescue Brigade and the Dutch Kitesurf Association (NKV). In this blog you can read why.
Lifeboat Day 2022 on April 30
The KNRM is very happy to report that the always well-attended Lifeboat Day 2022 will continue. She hopes to welcome as many people as possible on April 30th. As you can see in the image, the new donor card is attached to the letter. When you show the pass, you can not only sail on Lifeboat Day, but you also have free access to the National Rescue Museum Dorus Rijkers in Den Helder. KNRM helps: cool isn't it!
KNRM helps. I am a donor
As administrator of Kitesurfpro.nl I have been kitesurfing since 1998 and I have personally experienced the usefulness and necessity of the KNRM, the rescue brigade and the Dutch Kitesurf Association (NKV). KNRM helps. Now I take care of good findability on the water and I'll never go like 'Jan without a plan' out on the water. In addition, I like to write about my hobbies and hope to show others the way through which I emphasize the importance of take a lesson and take responsibility. For a small amount you too will be donor and support the KNRM and/or the more local Rescue Brigades.
Cross-pollination NKV, KNRM, Rescue Brigade
By the way, did you know that there is cross-pollination between the NKV, KNRM, Rescue Brigade. This was clearly noticeable during an online kitesurf safety clinic of the NKV. View the report of the safety clinic so you can learn more about it. The next NKV safety clinic will be on location on Saturday 17 September. The KNRM also helps with these clinics.
