With 'pop' even in the name, Ocean Rodeo makes no bones about it. The Ocean Rodeo Poptart is a board specially developed for freestyle kitesurfing. Of course you need a good doll for that. And if you go for big air, you also need a good doll. Unfortunately, we have not yet tested the new Ocean Rodeo kiteboard ourselves, but this is how the board is presented.

This is 'Doll'

Pop stands for the amount of counter pressure that the board can give to the kite. Thus, a kiteboard can actually be loaded with power. This ensures a good push-off for a jump and is the basis for freestyle and (extreme) big air jumps.

Ocean Rodeo Pop-Tart Features

To develop the Poptart, Ocean Rodeo worked closely with board shaper Saul Voludskis van Saul custom boards from Tarifa. The Poptart should be a freestyle board to support the highest level of kitesurfers in the field of freestyle and big air. The Poptart has a carbon top and bottom. The core is made of the famous Paulownia wood. In addition, the Poptart has sharp sides and a double concave. This helps to properly load the board with pressure before a jump.

Poptart vs Tumbler

Where the Ocean Rodeo Tumbler was completely designed for big air, the Poptart would also be suitable for wakestyle and kitesurfing with boots on. Read and view more about the Poptart on the site of ocean rodeo.
