Video selection completed

A little more attention to all entry videos. We had collected these for you in one kitesurfing blog. Seeing all the entry videos was a bit of a swallow. In addition to a single fortune seeker, these were at the level of top sport. What are they full of inspiration! look at the KOTA 2021 video entries.

No fewer than 5 Dutch people

5 of the 18 Red Bull KOTA 2021 participants are Dutch kite surfers. How cool is that! And even then it is still a great pity that not all Dutch people have been invited. How about talent Jamie Overbeek and other kite surfers who really went for it. Read the Jamie's retrospective on Cold Hawaii. Unfortunately men and of course Pippa van Irish, hopefully your chance will come soon. A Dutch name that stands out internationally is that of Giel Vlugt. Well known to us and that's why another movie of Giel. Go for it Giel!

  1. It has just been confirmed that Cape Town's beaches will be closed until January 15, 2021. It will be seen how further in due course. The windscreen for KOTA 2021 within which the event can be held is not in danger yet. We follow the news.

  2. South Africa is currently reportedly being hit hardest by the virus in the media (Volkskrant today). There is a curfew and beach ban in some areas. The KOTA 2021 windscreen is not open yet and let's hope that it will continue and that everyone can continue to kite there tasty and healthy. The GKA last fought to hold a world tour stop in Brazil. It may be possible to learn from this, but government decisions are of course government decisions.
