Minor kite injury

Everyone has a kite injury from time to time. Most are caused by an action with a wrong landing, take-off or overload. But what if you no longer know the cause or it is difficult to find out.

I myself have had problems with my instep for a long time. This was the cause of a piece of overload and wrong foot straps. Simply put, my foot straps were just too stiff (hard) for my feet. Pulling up my toes to secure myself in the foot straps caused inflammation of the tendon sheath. (Tendon sheath is the sheath through which the tendons run) Now that I have softer foot straps, I am happy to get rid of this problem. In some cases, the solution can be very simple.

Listen carefully to your body's signals to avoid injury. Especially cold days without shoes can easily cause an injury.

If you are bothered, you have to do something about it quickly before you immediately stand aside for a longer period of time and nobody wants that.

  1. Last year I also had a tear in my phalanx from my ring finger. This is really something you don't want to do business with. Erik once had a joint from the bowl. Really beautiful. NOT!

  2. Even just had an Achilles tendonitis due to overload.
Today I made solid landings with my stiffer ThornFC, and the spot of ignition is palpable again. Apparently 3 weeks of stress is not enough. Furthermore, the stiffer board will also be a factor. It's just such a shame that I can't stop running ……
