It is very sad news for fellow water sports enthusiasts, people and authorities involved, but even more sad for the next of kin, family and friends of the killed kite surfer and surfers who were involved.
On Sunday, news came about a 28-year-old kite surfer in an accident near Kamperland in Zeeland. He would have been caught by the strong wind and flew into a concrete pole of a beach house. Read further, click here..
On Monday the news came that surfers at Scheveningen had run into problems. In the evening, it was announced that two surfers had died shortly after they were brought ashore by emergency personnel and that other missing surfers were still being searched.
