Late summer kite session in L'Almanarre

Last week it was high time for me, after all that hard work ;-), to take a break with my dear wife. Our destination was a lovely house with a swimming pool near Saint-Tropez (France) on the Côte d'Azur (Cote d'Azur), in short the Mediterranean. Kite gear of course!

It was not the intention to go on a kite holiday but purely to explore the Cote d'Azur in late summer. This has been successful! But for many years I have always taken my kite gear with me. As soon as the wind blows, it starts itching and before you know it you are somewhere on the water and your trip is of course doubly successful!

With the spot tip of a colleague in the back of my mind, I quickly saw that the wind was good for one day anyway. L'Almanarre. We will of course!

As you can see in the pictures, it was not a spectacle but I really enjoyed it!

    Yes, it was nice.

    @Steven.
    Hmm, understand that you are not enthusiastic then! Fortunately it was not too busy on my day and there was a nice breeze blowing in front of my 12 meters.

  2. I have been this summer. Kiting 3 days out of 4 weeks.
    In high season you have a small kite zone and it is very (dangerously) busy and very choppy.
    At the same beach in the bend at Giens it is much better with a lot of flat water. Here, however, it is only tolerated after 7 o'clock in the evening.
