The kite discipline kitespeed is hot! You were able to do that last week read that the record has been broken; Rob Douglas (US) buzzed 49,84 knots, this is 92,3 km / h over. Hard enough for a new world record & more is still to come!
Speedkiting is also alive in the Netherlands. We got it NK Speed Kite in October and Rolf van der Vlugt and Katja Roose compete at world level for the titles.
North Kiteboarding has launched a speedkite board. After 15 to 20 prototypes there is the North limited edition course racing board.
