Kitesurf museum day May 7, 2022. Are you participating?

Naish Mutant

Some kiteboards are like nostalgia for me. Do you have this too? I have very fond memories of the Naish Mutant. That's why I recently bought a second-hand Mutant. She one from about 2002. I bought it as decoration and already for the 'Slufterhufter' day in 2022. Then I hope to gather some Slufterhufters from the past to go on the water with old stuff. Not a slacker? No problem and maybe for the better because they had a not-so-great reputation. Everyone is welcome for a fun day with old material. Optionally, you can grab our stuff for a bit. Will you join us?

Temptation Naish Mutant Irresistible

But after weeks of enjoying the Mutant as a decoration in my room, I couldn't resist taking it to the water's edge. That is where such a kiteboard belongs. Not in a museum. With about 14 knots of wind and a brand new Naish Pivot 12 meters 'red dragon' in the air I had a nice old school kitesurfing session.

Evolution of kiteboards

Sometimes you hear noises from fellow kite surfers who believe that kites and kiteboards undergo little innovation. I can tell you that after a slice of the Naish Mutant from 2002 you think very differently. Check out my bloopers for yourself. I haven't had such a wet suit in ages. Anyway, the happier I was when the 720 finally succeeded. Just like before.

Museum kitesurf day in 2022

Do you have old equipment lying around and want to take it out on the water again? We are going to plan something especially for this in May 2022. Then we will take all the museum pieces out of the closet and go into the water under the guidance of each other and under favorable conditions.

Stay informed via the KitesurfPro.nl facebook page. We provide snacks and drinks. You know, just like in the old days during the KiteHigh.nl days ;-).
