There are very nice kite days between summer and winter. This was one of them. 12 degrees, a nice sun and wind from the south-west. Put on your winter suit, shoes and gloves, but without a cap.
Given the crowds on the beaches at this time of the year, it looks like we are getting more and more kiteboarders who also sail on in the winter, on the nice days.
Climate change
The discussion continues. For us this is twofold in the short term.
Think small for a moment; just let the temperature rise and the wind become more turbulent. Then the winters will be nice and mild!
Think equally big; let's hope for an eleven city tour so that we don't heat up too much!
… And then the sea level rises and then we finally get Enschede aan Zee! At least then I don't have to go that far to the water anymore.
