NK KITEBOARD POSTPONED FROM 11/12 OCTOBER
This weekend there will be no NK kiteboarding again. The wind forecasts are so bad that the organization has decided to postpone the NK to the next call-up date (1 & 2 November).
In addition to this bad news, the organization also has good news. Electra, known for its trendy bicycles, is making two "townies" available for the winners of the NK Freestyle Kiteboarding 2008. Registration is now open again, so if you haven't registered yet, do it quickly. The registration of the NK Speedkiten is also still open.

Renault Eco2 NK Kite Freestyle & Speed
Who will win the title “Dutch champion” this year? The weather conditions have not yet been very favorable. Initially we hoped that the Dutch Championship could take place before the fall. This did not work, but the chance of wind is now only increasing. Perhaps it will be an NK with a lot of wind!
The Renault Eco 2 NK Kiteboard Freestyle 2008 will take place in Scheveningen on the beach between the harbor pier and the Kurhaus.

As in previous years, the NK is organized in a wind window (on request). You can start on one of the following weekends:
- 6 and 7 September
- October 11 and 12
- 1 and 2 November (next available dates)
- November 8 and 9
Which weekend will be started depends on the wind forecasts. On the Thursday prior to the planned weekends, this website will notify you at 12.00:XNUMX noon whether or not to start that weekend.

The last three weekends will be doubled with the call-off weekends of the NK Freestyle. The NK Speedkite will only be on one of these three weekends if the NK Freestyle has already been sailed, or the NK Freestyle cannot be held due to a different wind direction, but the NK Speedkite can be held. If the wind forecast for the second day of the weekend is less than the first day, the event will be the first day only.
