Julian↗ tipped us that from April 8 to May 3, 2024 the wind window is open for the very significant Wheels to waves downwinder. Then kitesurfers, sponsored and led, enter the water for a downwinder from Noordwijk to IJmuiden to raise money for wheelchair riders who want to go kitesurfing. None other than wheelchair rider and wheelchair kite surfer Willem Hoofd is the initiator with 'the Willem Hoofd Foundation'.

You can register via the special event site at unilever-events.com↗. After registration you will receive a personal fundraising link with which you can start collecting. Achieving the target amount of 350 Euro is not mandatory, but is highly appreciated. Only in this way can the goal be achieved.
