IIn 2017 it had to happen. Dominique Kwaks, Eddy Lansink, Daan Groot and Guido Veldhuijzen launched their own kitesurfing brand this year. Ten Kiteboarding! With the name also comes the motto: TEN stands for 10. Ten Kiteboarding goes for the best technology for a fair price. Thus, the introduction of a new Dutch kitesurf brand became a fact. In this blog, again, a kitesurfing brand highlighted from Dutch soil.

Ten Kiteboarding: Dutch kitesurfing brand without fuss

Ten Kiteboarding represents the essence of kite surfing. Material must therefore be functional and durable. No fuss. TEN Kiteboarding has been on the market for over 3 years now. In the Netherlands, TEN Kiteboarding is only for sale at the kitesurf shop Versus. The owners of Versus themselves are avid kite surfers Daan Groot, Dominique Kwaks and Eddy Lansink. This completes the circle in terms of passion, motivation, knowledge & skills and entrepreneurship.

Description Ten kiteboarding products

Kite: Pinna V2

The V2 is of course the brother of the V1. The Pinna V2 was launched a few weeks ago and we have not yet been able to find a review. According to TEN Kiteboarding, the Pinna V2 has been completely redesigned based on 3 years of testing. The Pinna V2 should be an all-round kite designed for steering speed, lift and hangtime. It should also be a very trusted kite to learn new tricks with. We hope to be able to test one soon. This is offered to every kite surfer via kitesurf shop Versus.

Kite: Velox

The Velox is a more extreme kite than the Pinna V2. You can already tell from the unique wide and shallow appearance. The Velox has been specially developed for extreme lift and therefore long hangtime. Ten Kiteboarding compares it to the hangtime and conviviality of a foil kite. Going big air and airstyling. In addition, the Velox is a kite with which you could kite surf super fast. Easy to drive and with a lot of depower.

Kiteboarding: The Act

An all-round kiteboard that should support you well to keep control in gusty winds, waves and small unpredictable waves ('chop'). The latter would make short work of the concave under the kiteboard. The Act is also described as a kiteboard that can be charged well (by means of sides) for big air jumps. The Act is recommended for any kite surfing. A kiteboard with which you can move forward.

Kiteboard: The Act Light Wind

The Act is also available in a 158 cm variant for kite surfing in low wind and / or the real novice kite surfer who plans to enjoy cruising.

Kite board: The Mark

The Mark is described as a kiteboard with extreme grip and excellent upwind properties. This is achieved by something that immediately stands out at The Mark. Namely a fifth fin in the center of the kiteboard. This should ensure perfect control and grip on the water. Ideal for launching for higher jumps. In addition, a fifth fin in that place has another advantage. It also gives more grip in less wind, so that you should be able to sail a little longer with The Mark in less wind.

Conclusion TEN Kiteboarding

We hope to have given you a brief introduction to the kites and kiteboards from Ten Kiteboarding. Much too short actually for a Dutch kitesurf brand that goes for a 'TEN'. We are very curious about the exploration and would like to test the kitesurfing material. That way we can share our findings with you. So read on for now on the beautiful and educational website of ten-kiteboarding.com. If you have experience with Ten Kiteboarding, feel free to share this in response to this blog for other kite surfers.

This kitesurf blog about a Dutch kitesurf brand is part of a series of kitesurf blogs about the Dutch kitesurf industry. We can be proud of that. Next time we will consider Lieuwe boards.
