IIn 2019, the Naish Switch kiteboard made its appearance with the 2020 model. A very special kiteboard. For example, it is not symmetrical like a standard twin tip kiteboard but asymmetrical. The kiteboard actually has 2 sizes. This is of course immediately noticeable. Now there is the Naish Switch 2021. But what advantage does this actually have? Two kiteboards in one: Naish Switch kiteboard
The Naish Switch can be characterized as a versatile freeride kiteboard. You can read more about riding styles here. A kiteboard that is therefore reasonably flexible and the shape has been developed for all conditions. The kiteboard has two sizes and that is where the versatile starts immediately. Because one Naish Switch actually has two different lengths. Each side has a different length. For example, a Switch with lengths of 134 cm and 138 cm and one with lengths of 138 cm and 141 cm.

- Switch variant 2: length 138/142, width 42 cm
As you can see, one side of the kiteboard is 4 cm longer than the other side. Does this make a difference? Yes, that really makes a difference. Read why below.
For which kite surfer suitable?
The Naish Switch is a freeride kiteboard that, according to Naish, has the properties of the Naish Motion. The reviews of both kiteboards are good. This year these boards would have become a lot lighter. In addition, this kiteboard can be suitable for a kite surfer who shares his kiteboard with someone else. The heavier kite surfer uses the longer side, the lighter kite surfer the short side. This can also be useful if you want to kite surf at different strengths. Actually with a kiteboard two different ones food with you to choose from depending on the circumstances. With less wind you choose the long side (more support and easier speed), with more wind the short side (offer more counter pressure to the kite and better sides to jump). You obviously have to turn the foot straps depending on your choice.
