Traditional Dutch kite surfing Maasvlakte, Wijk aan Zee and Workum. But this first… Anyone who doesn't know them yet has been updated on this one. Jamie Overbeek interviewed me last year when he was still 14 years old. We did not immediately notice his brother Sean Overbeek. On the other hand, more and more now. Not because the duo seems to do everything together. No, precisely because of the kite surfing talent that they both have. Add to that our typical Dutch climate and kite spots and we come to 3 points: duo, kite surfing talent and very Dutch. Let that just be recorded.

We build up the tension a bit because kitesurfing movies are superfluous. However, they are quite rare of this quality. We were together with Jamie and Sean during a storm Bella on the water on the Maasvlakte during the recording. We with one GoPro en Edwin Haighton with the real stuff. What a difference and those typical Dutch brown tubs of waves on the Maasvlakte… We have not seen them so beautiful on screen yet.

The three kite spots are beautifully depicted. It also becomes clear that Jamie and Sean are chasing strong winds in the Netherlands. They take cold temperatures, gusts of wind and unreliable forecasts for granted in search of the perfect kitesurfing spots and moments.
