With a 5th place for our Dutch Pippa van Iersel during the last tour stop in Brazil, the GKA Kite World Tour 2021. Pippa thus finished in 3rd place in this kitesurf world ranking.

Reflection Pippa on 5th place
Pippa herself was not satisfied with her 5th place. This time, her strategy and plans turned out differently than she'd wanted. For example, she had to watch as the final was kitesurfed instead of taking part in it herself. Pippa briefly reflected through her Instagram account. In it you also read that the select group of girls is evenly matched. They have fun and learn a lot from each other, and they also compete against each other in the kitesurfing competition. The end result is impressive: Pippa van Iersel finishes 3rd in Kite World Tour 2021.
Kitesurf tricks to dream of
It is clear that the kitesurf tricks that Pippa and the others do are incredibly technical and clever. Mikaili made a so-called 317 in the final and achieved a score of 10. As an illustration. A 317 is a heelside railey with a backside 720 handle pass. For many kitesurfers, such kitesurfing tricks are adacradaba and that is why the videos of the event are worth watching. Especially if you also plan to master more freestyle tricks.
