Kitesurfing with storm Corrie
Despite this, kite surfers have taken to the water today. Precisely because a whole selection group of kite surfers see these moments as the currants in the porridge: every storm want to take them.
We have already seen calls where kite surfers were looking for buddies. We also saw buddies who offered themselves. A crew of kitesurfers who group as 'SpaceX Kitesurfing' were already there for IJmuiden.
Altitude records smashed
It was also a day of height records. Stijn Koster broke his record with a height of 26,9 metres. Michiel Schipper also broke his record. With 29,5 meters, the magical limit of 30 meters was in sight.
Merijn Pol's first storm session
Also Merry Pol went to war for Horst beach. Merry is 14 years old and weighs 45 kilos. He took to the water with his 5 meter North Orbit. Below is a photo of him with his WOO measurement data.

Youri Son in action too
Former world champion kiteboarding Youri Zoon also kitesurfed with Corrie. He was briefly put on screen by Sven Ottevanger for the Brouwersdam. The beautiful hangtime and double heliloop for a soft landing are clearly visible. Thanks for sharing the images Sven!
